What’s Your Season?

ree

For most of my life, I called myself a summer girl. The warmth, the light, the endless activity—summer always felt like freedom. The season of energy, of saying yes to more, of letting the days stretch long into night.

But lately, I’ve noticed something has shifted. As the years have added their wisdom, I find myself drawn to Fall. The crisp air, the golden trees, the slower rhythm. Fall is the season of release—leaves loosening their grip, daylight pulling back, nature teaching us how to let go without fear. And in this stage of life, that lesson feels like home.

It makes me wonder—maybe we each have a season that fits us best at certain points in our lives. Maybe as we grow, our “preferred season” changes too.

  • Summer might once have fed your fire, calling you to adventure and connection.

  • Fall may now soothe your soul, offering rest, reflection, and graceful release.

  • Winter could be your season of depth, inviting quiet renewal and the beauty of stillness.

  • Spring may stir your spirit, awakening growth, possibility, and the thrill of beginnings.

There’s no right answer—only the truth of what speaks to you now.

So let me ask you: What’s your season? And more importantly—why?

Is it the season you’ve always loved, or has it changed as you’ve changed? Does it reflect the energy you crave, or the rhythm your soul is calling for today?

I’ve learned that noticing this isn’t just about weather preferences—it’s about alignment. When we pay attention to the season that feels most like us, we discover something deeper about the stage of life we’re in, the pace our body longs for, and the nourishment our soul needs.

🍂 Right now, mine is Fall.

What’s yours?
