Following a New Doorway 🌙

This weekend, I completed Reiki Level 1 training in the Usui System of Natural Healing.

What drew me toward Reiki was not the idea of “fixing” anything. It was curiosity. A desire to better understand energy, grounding, emotional balance, restoration, and the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Over the last few years, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on what drains us and what genuinely restores us. That exploration became part of There’s No Place Like Soul, Harmony of the Elements, and the question I continue returning to: What truly feeds your soul?

The experience itself felt peaceful, welcoming, grounding, and deeply thoughtful. There was something meaningful about slowing down long enough to pay attention to presence, intention, breath, and care in a more conscious way.

At this stage of life, I’m learning that growth sometimes looks less like striving and more like staying open. Open to learning. Open to healing. Open to following paths that quietly keep calling your name.

I don’t know exactly where this journey may lead, but I’m grateful I allowed myself to step through a new doorway and see what unfolds from here.
