Some moments remind us how deeply we feel, love, and remember. This weekās episode, āSitting with Sadness,āĀ was born from one of those tender spaces.
Iāve spent years learning how to manage sadness in a healthy way ā not by avoiding it or covering it up, but by listening to what itās trying to say. Sadness isnāt weakness. Itās an emotion with purpose ā helping us release what no longer fits and making room for what will.
In this episode, I share what it means to sit with sadness instead of running from it ā to honor the heaviness while trusting its quiet gift of renewal.
My heart is also with my community right now, as many are grieving and healing from a recent event. This episode is a small offering of presence ā a reminder that we donāt have to rush through pain to find peace. Sometimes, simply feeling whatās real isĀ the way through.
To close the episode, I chose āHomeā by NorthsideĀ from Epidemic Sound ā a song that carries the spirit of return. It felt like the right way to end ā a soft reminder that even through loss and change, we eventually find our way home to ourselves, to one another, and to soul.
