Harmony of the Elements (HOTE) Soul Card Reading 1.10.26

Harmony of the Elements (HOTE) Soul Card Readings are a sacred offering I share with others—designed to help align the energies of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit with one’s soul path.

These readings offer a holistic view of where balance, insight, or transformation may be needed across the elemental layers of life. Today, I chose to offer this reading to myself.

As I step into the new year, I’ve selected “Harmony” as my guiding word for 2026. With that as my compass, my intention for today's reading was how do I build Harmony into my life. The cards aligned beautifully with why I chose Harmony as my focus word. Read below :)

The Process

To create this soul-centered reading, I used the Elemental Cross Spread, which connects each card to a direction, an element, and a core energetic aspect of life:

  • 🌍 North – Earth: Physical world, grounding, home, body

  • 🌬 East – Air: Thoughts, perception, mental clarity

  • 🔥 South – Fire: Passion, willpower, creative energy

  • 💧 West – Water: Emotions, intuition, healing

  • Center – Spirit: Higher self, integration, soul wisdom

Each card was placed intentionally, forming a mandala of insight and reflection. To deepen the integration, I selected a Soul Stone—a crystal with a chakra-encoded affirmation. The message that emerged was:

“I Understand.”

This closing affirmation felt like the soul’s gentle response to the intention I set—an invitation to integrate what’s been learned, to trust what is changing, and to embody what is becoming.

The Reading: Messages from the Elements

🌍 Earth – Queen of Pentacles

Grounded, nurturing, abundant

You are firmly rooted in care—of yourself, your space, and your resources. Earth invites you to recognize the peace and balance you’ve created in your physical life. You are supported, and now is a time to enjoy and deepen that grounded presence.

“I tend to my body, space, and resources with loving wisdom. I am rooted and supported.”

🌬 Air – Two of Swords

Indecision, pause, inward tension

You’re standing between two mental paths, eyes covered, heart waiting. Air reveals a crossroads—not just of decision, but of perception. The way forward isn’t through logic, but through surrender to inner knowing.

“I honor the wisdom in stillness. I see with the heart what eyes cannot.”

🔥 Fire – Seven of Wands (Reversed)

Feeling overwhelmed, weary

Your inner fire may feel dimmed, challenged, or misaligned. The reversed Seven of Wands urges rest—not retreat out of fear, but sacred pause for renewal. Not all battles are meant to be fought. Some are invitations to reclaim your yes with discernment.

“I honor my energy. I rest and return to my sacred ‘yes.’”

💧 Water – Ten of Cups

Harmonious completion, love fulfilled

This is a beautiful sign of emotional wholeness. Love flows freely—whether through family, friendship, or inner peace. This card reflects joy as a birthright and gratitude as a practice.

“I feel the joy of being loved and loving fully. I am embraced by life.”

Spirit – Death (Reversed)

Resistance to change, something must be surrendered

At the center of this spread lies a quiet truth: something is ready to be released, but fear, comfort, or old identity may be holding it in place. Death Reversed invites you to gently face the transformation your soul has been asking for.

“I release what no longer aligns. In surrender, I rise anew.”

💎 Soul Stone – “I Understand”

Placed atop the Spirit card, this stone offers the final message:

I understand my journey. I trust the rhythm of my soul.”

This stone didn’t just end the reading—it completed it. It brought together the elements into a single, soul-deep truth: that harmony is born when we allow ourselves to understand the deeper wisdom of our path—even when it asks us to change.

✨ Final Thoughts

This reading reminded me that harmony is not a destination—it’s a relationship. A dance. A dialogue between elements that shift, rise, fall, and return to center.
